About us

I have loved holistic health and nutrition ever since I can remember. I always spend a lot of much time searching for new healthy dishes for myself and the people I love since ‘a healthy outside starts from the inside’.

I use every opportunity I have to cook from scratch. I simply love all the goodness that you can do for your body by adding delicious and nutritious ingredients to your diet. The rule I easily stick to all the time is avoiding processed foods. I believe the energy we pass on through our cooking not only affects our body but also our soul.

The payoff of eating healthy food and healthy lifestyle for kids is huge. Research shows that food choices affect our mental health, physical health, mood, energy, and help our body fight off diseases.

Being a school staff member and watching how the kids’ meals are managed everyday gave me the push I needed to use my experience and knowledge in creating The Little Apron, the perfect project for our kids’ dietary needs.

As cooking and preparing a balanced diet becomes a challenge day by day, our home-style nutritious lunches are carefully prepared with nutrient-packed ingredients and a variety of foods that keep our kids’ meals interesting and flavourful.

Few tips to help your children eat healthy:

Talk to your kids about the importance of food and eating.

Explain to your kids the different kinds of food and how it helps their growth.

Teach them to pick the right kinds of food when going shopping or when you eat out together.

Check with your kids the ingredients list in a food label and learn about the difference between processed and unprocessed food.

Practice healthy eating at home, eat healthy yourself first, then teach them how to enjoy fruits and vegetables.

Allow some snacks from time to time (don’t forbid it entirely because balance is key and it keeps them motivated).

Ask your child frequently what and when they are eating. If you don’t ask you will not know.
